Summer Work Travel 2015 Selfie Contest
Send us a selfie and win dinner plus a selfie with the Chargé d’Affaires (the acting Ambassador) of the United States!
The U.S. Embassy Sofia is pleased to announce the “My Americana” selfie competition for returned SWT 2015 participants. Please email your selfies which best depict what America was for you during your SWT adventure. The winners will be invited to dinner with the U.S. Chargé d’Affaires and will have the opportunity to take a selfie together!
Contest:
Submit up to two photos at sofia@usembassy.bg with a subject line “My Americana”, between November 2nd and November 16th. Include your name, contact information, university, the summer work location (city and state), and one or two sentences about why those selfies best illustrate your Americana.
The Embassy will select three winners who will have the chance to have dinner and chat with the U.S. Chargé d’Affaires. The best ten photos will be shared on the U.S. Embassy Sofia’s Facebook page as well as printed and displayed at official SWT events.
Guidelines:
Submissions are only allowed from those who participated in the SWT program in summer 2015. Participants may submit a maximum of two photos. All photos must be your original work to which you own the rights.
Photos, along with the required information, must be emailed to sofia@usembassy.bg. The top submissions will be posted on Embassy’s Facebook page and must adhere to the Embassy’s and Facebook’s Terms of Use. Any unsuitable or inappropriate content will be removed from the competition.
Photos should not exceed a maximum size of 5MB, saved as JPEG (.jpg) in RGB format, and must be no longer than 2000 pixels on the longest side, 300 dpi. All photo submissions will allow the U.S. Embassy full rights to reproduce the image for use in SWT promotional materials in the future.
The Embassy reserves the right to make the final determination on any finalists/winners based on a combination of creative factors. Regular Terms of Use still apply. Employees of the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Embassy Sofia and their family members are ineligible for this competition.
